How to Install Clicky
This guide covers the current Clicky RF button-pusher pack. Read the instructions supplied with your pack before installation. If your product or instructions look different, stop and contact us.
Before you start
- Choose a non-safety-critical physical push button.
- Confirm there is enough clean, flat mounting area beside the button.
- Keep the original button and normal safety controls accessible.
- Do not install Clicky where an unintended press could create a safety risk.
1. Check the fit and alignment
Before removing any adhesive backing, hold the pusher beside the button. Check that its actuator can reach the button without blocking normal manual use.
Clicky is designed only for selected compatible physical push buttons. Touch-only, capacitive, deeply recessed or unusually stiff controls may not be suitable.
2. Prepare the mounting surface
Make sure the mounting area is clean and dry. Use the preparation materials supplied with your pack only as directed in the included instructions.
3. Mount the button pusher
Once the position is confirmed, apply the adhesive mounting piece and press the pusher firmly into position according to the included instructions. Do not mount it over labels, vents, moving parts or safety controls.
4. Test it while you are present
- Stand beside the button and keep the original control accessible.
- Use the dedicated RF remote to trigger one press.
- Repeat several times and check that the press is consistent.
- Stop using Clicky if it shifts, detaches, presses the wrong control or operates unreliably.
Compatibility is installation-specific
Fit depends on the button shape, travel, required force, mounting area and surface condition. A successful installation on one switch does not guarantee compatibility with another.
Need help before installing?
Send us clear front and side photos of the button and the surrounding area. We can help you review the visible setup, but final compatibility still depends on the physical installation.
